BarCampBirmingham is a free conference. To help make this happen, we depend on the generosity and support of local businesses and individuals to help out. With the help of our sponsors, we can provide free lunch to campers who come from all over Alabama (some as far away as Atlanta), a t-shirt, as well as cover expenses like equipment rental, facility fees, supplies, and more.

Barcamp Birmingham will bring together approximately 200 of the Birmingham area’s brightest and most motivated software developers, engineers, inventors, students, and entrepreneurs. By sponsoring BarCamp, you’ll be helping this community in a very direct and visible way. And also we have participants attend from all over the Southeast
What kind of sponsorships are available?
We have 2 sponsorship levels:
Silver sponsors, from $300, receive:
- Your company will be mentioned on the silver sponsor listing on our website.
- You will be mentioned on social media broadcasts
- Can place swag on the swag table
- name on t-shirt (no logo)
- an 8.5″x11″ color-printed sign with your logo or message posted next to the central schedule
Gold sponsors, from $500, receive all of the above, plus:
- Your company will be mentioned on the gold sponsor listing on the site
- company logo on the shirt
- sign posted at the registration desk thanking you for making the event possible
We have other methods of sponsorship
- Specific Items – You can also sponsor a specific part of BarCamp. For instance, your company could sponsor lunch for all attendees. In this case, you would cordinate with the lunch provider to arrange for the food, and pay them directly. this would amount to a gold sponsorship. The main ones we look for are lunch, and coffee and/or breakfast.
- In Kind – This would be things like media sponsors.
